The Queen Tweets
Even Buckingham Palace has come aboard the Twitter bandwagon, where the Twitter account @BritishMonarchy has just gone live. This news was revealed after following several weeks of testing, and through this channel it will be used to spread news about the Royal Family. According to a spokesperson, “The intention is that it is a news service rather than a personal voice.” Both the Queen and the Prince of Wales had been informed about the Twitter acccount, where oversight of the @BritishMonarchy account will be equally split between Buckingham Palace and Clarence House.
